Service Description
PUPPY CLASSES (For new puppies starting at 8 weeks of age) Sylvie Monge is a a professional dog trainer with a wealth of experience and certifications under her belt. This 5 week course will not only give you and your pup the proper foundations to start you both off on the right paw, but it will help both you and your pup form a bond built on mutual respect, and have some fun while you're at it! This course focuses on Puppy Socialization. Each class will end with a short puppy play session where they will learn appropriate play with thier friends. In this course we will cover the following topics: HOUSEHOLD ETIQUETTE Potty training/house training. Crate, playroom training Chew training. Puppy attention and focus. SOCIALIZATION. Introducing new people and children New environments (object, surfaces and sounds) Jumping Settle down and relax. LIFE SKILLS Vet and grooming visits Cooperative care Canine body language Guarding valued objects BASIC OBEDIENCE Marker words/clicker Harness/collar/leash Basic behaviour training Walking nicely. DOG PARK MANNERS Appropriate play/biting Recall Greeting people Meeting other dogs.
